Badger Calculator
The Badger Calculator is a free online calculator built for and branded by Western Lands Preservation (WLP) — a company founded in 2020 by Steven Whitney when he was 15 years old, with a mission to preserve wildlife and wild lands across the Western United States. WLP currently owns a 30-acre preserve in the Oquirrh Mountains in Utah and sells nature-themed greeting cards and playing cards in 70+ shops across 15+ states.
The calculator carries the WLP forest green color theme — the equal button is green, the heading is green, and the WLP mascot, a badger face hand-drawn by Steven himself, sits in the upper left corner of the calculator. Click the badger and the calculator opens the Badger Credo — a simple list on how to be a good person.

The Badger Story
The WLP mascot was born on a mountain trail in the Wyoming backwoods when Steven encountered a badger peering out of its den — furry, dark brown with white stripes, with curious eyes that seemed to say “Who are you?” That moment of curious innocence in the wild became the inspiration for Western Lands Preservation and its nature-themed products.
